Street kids in Kathmandu

Ven. Thubten Khunpel and several other monks from Kopan Monastery in Nepal are working to help the street kids of Kathmandu. Their organization Illuminating Darkness Nepal seeks to make the lives of street children more meaningful. More than an estimated 50,000 street children live in Kathmandu, many begging and rummaging through garbage to survive.
