Students, members and visitors hailing from as far as Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore as well as our home in Malaysia gathered at Rinchen Jangsem Ling (RJL) on October 9, 2011 to celebrate the consecration of towering 25-foot [7.6-meter] marble Chenrezig and 6-foot [1.8-meter] White Dzambhala statues, followed by a Four-Arm Chenrezig jenang with Dagri Rinpoche.
After the consecration, the audience was entertained with a performance by Dharma For Kids (DFK) from RJL and Losang Dragpa Centre (LDC). The kids joyously incorporated Buddhist messages and teachings into their performance perfectly
Following the performance, the public received the Four-Arm Chenrezig jenang from Dagri Rinpoche. During the jenang, Dagri Rinpoche shared with participants that the late Geshe Lama Konchog had made the prediction that RJL is blessed with great potential to produce highly realized practitioners.
The event concluded on October 10 with protector and incense pujas. We sincerely hope and request that Dagri Rinpoche will return again and again to turn the wheel of Dharma.
