ever mind
ever mind
Is this mind encountered not on a daily
not even on an hourly basis
Is this mind encountered even with each arising moment
for in each arising moment there is… what?
the sense of opening to the ageless
of opening to heart
simply of opening without object
and therefore to all objects
or is there once again the submitting to shadows of behaviors which have appeared repetitively
like the passing cars of a ghost train
which of course leads back to a birth place no longer relevant.
oh if I could face each sensation without clinging to the past
without wrapping my arms around myself and holding holding on
without running blind and outstretched and at a precarious angle
to some dangling imaginary reprieve.
where is that moment
where is that moment
where is that moment
as soon as I say it it is gone
as soon as I try to capture it the fading has already taken place
opening to the ageless
opening to heart
opening without object
and therefore to all objects.
is this becoming that
or that becoming this
Craig has been trying to place his foot more firmly in the stream for several years, and to learn how to allow the stream to gently draw him in. Sometimes he’s afraid he might get wet, but when he succeeds, even a bit, it is so refreshing. Just a short visit and browse to the FPMT website provides that refreshment to him and what is offered through the teachings and writings are a wonderful support. He lives quite contentedly in Vancouver, BC with his lovely, loving and delightful wife and two cats.
